Chris Malkin

Chris Malkin

AGIT (Commerce), Trained Technical Teachers Certificate, Certificate of Financial Planning, Fellow, CPA Australia, Fellow, Institute of Chartered Accountants, Australia and New Zealand, Registered Company Auditor, Registered SMSF Auditor

Chris retired from partnerships in large Accounting practices and now consults to the Accounting Profession in the structuring and audit of superannuation funds. He also provides expert witness and similar specialised advice in respect of superannuation matters. He sits on five corporate boards, three of which are pro bono for not-for-profit organisations, an involvement for which he holds great passion having worked in this sector for many years. Prior to entering the Accounting Profession, Chris gained wide experience in senior financial and corporate management positions both in Australia and the UK. As a qualified teacher, he taught Accounting and Economics at secondary and tertiary levels in Victoria. In 2004, Chris was presented with the President’s Award by CPA Australia for his outstanding contribution to the Australian Accounting Profession, particularly in the field of superannuation.

Special responsibilities:
Mr Malkin is the Finance Director, Chair of the Finance, Audit & Governance Committee.
