Visitors are welcome to come to the Workshop at any time from Tuesday to Friday 10am-5pm. We have a small shop on site where we sell our exclusive yarns, with a colour range of over 360 colours and tones, as well as ATW cards, puzzles and books, and small and large completed tapestries.
The Workshop has two galleries where completed large and small tapestries are on display. Gallery viewing is by gold coin donation.
Viewing the Workshop
Visitors are welcome to view the Workshop at any time from Tuesday to Friday, 10am-5pm (we recommend visiting before 3pm) for a gold coin donation. This allows visitors to observe the weavers at work from the Workshop mezzanine, and to look down into the Colour Laboratory where the yarns are dyed for production.
Wednesdays at 11am and Thursdays at 2pm.
The tours take approx 1 hour and cost $10 per person
Bookings are essential for guided tours at least 24 hrs in advance. Numbers are limited.

Take the No 1 tram (South Melbourne Beach) in Swanston Street and alight at stop 24 or take the No 12 tram (St Kilda Beach) in Collins Street and alight at stop 129
Most of the parking around the Workshop is one or two hour metered parking. Parking at the South Melbourne Market on market days is free. The South Melbourne Market is open on Wednesday and Friday.
