Tours

Visitors are welcome to come to the Workshop at any time during business, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. We have a small shop on site where we sell our exclusive yarns, with a colour range of over 360 colours and tones, as well as ATW cards and books, and small and large completed tapestries.   

Galleries 

The Workshop has two galleries where completed large and small tapestries are on display.  Gallery viewing is free of charge.

Viewing the Workshop

Visitors are welcome to view the Workshop.  The cost of this is $5 per person.  This allows visitors to observe the weavers at work from the Workshop mezzanine, and  look down from the mezzanine into the Colour Laboratory where the yarns are dyed for production.

Guided Tours

Wednesdays at 11am and Thursdays at 2pm
The tours take approx 1 hour and cost $10 per person

Special tours outside of standard tour times can be arranged by arrangement.

Public Transport

Take the No 1 tram (South Melbourne Beach) in Swanston Street and alight at stop 24 or take the No 112 tram (St Kilda Beach) in Collins Street and alight at stop 129

Parking

Most of the parking around the Workshop is one or two hour metered parking. Parking at the South Melbourne Market on market days is free. The South Melbourne Market is open on Wednesday and Friday.
