David Noonan returns

For a short time only, two tapestries by acclaimed artist David Noonan will be on view at the Australian Tapestry Workshop. Untitled 2009, which has just returned home after touring the UK for 15 months as a part of the influential British Art Show 7: In the Days of the Comet, can be viewed together with an exciting new work that is currently in progress on the loom.

New Australian tapestry unveiled in Vatican City

2011 Kate Derum Award winners announced

Judges of the 2011 Kate Derum Award, Jason Smith and Kay Lawrence AO have announced Victorian artist, Joy Smith as the winner of this year’s award for her work, 'Chainsaw'. They also awarded the $1,000 Emerging Artist award to fellow Victorian artist, Saffron Lily Gordon for her work, 'Jack of Diamonds'.
