INTERTWINED: Weaving training for refugee artists

Intertwined: Stories on the Wall - Tuesdays 11am-3pm and Thursdays 10am-2pm through week of 1 April. The public is invited to view this collaboration between Multicultural Arts Victoria (MAV) and the ATW bringing together two groups of women artists from refugee communities: artists from the Karen people of Burma who work primarily in paper collage and textile artists from Afghanistan. This program is supported by the City of Port Phillip.

HRH The Prince of Wales visits the ATW

The Australian Tapestry Workshop was delighted to be one of the few venues in Victoria included in the itinerary of HRH The Prince of Wales. His Royal Highness visited Australia as a personal representative of Her Majesty The Queen during the Diamond Jubilee year, which marks The Queen’s 60 years as the monarch.
