The Tapestry Foundation of Australia (formerly the Tapestry Foundation of Victoria) was established in 1995 and is maintained exclusively for public charitable purposes that enable and encourage the development of tapestry in Australia.
Among the Foundation's many achievements is the Tapestry Foundation Embassy Collection that places tapestries designed by Indigenous artists in major Australian Embassies and High Commissions around the world.
